Construction Safety Coordinator

Working with the Safety Manager, you will help implement and maintain site-specific safety processes across Bay Area projects. This role supports compliance with applicable federal, state and local requirements, including OSHA and DOT regulations.

What You'll Do

• Assist with implementing and maintaining safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and conduct jobsite inspections to identify potential accident and health hazards.
• Track safety training records, schedule training and participate in new-hire safety orientations.
• Compile required accident reports and follow company safety practices.
• Handle sensitive information professionally and communicate effectively with the team.

What You Bring

• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree is preferred, not required.
• Understanding of safety and basic first aid, with ability to read regulations, bulletins and work instructions.
• Attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, good organization and a proactive attitude.
• Basic to intermediate Word, Excel and Outlook skills; strong communication and teamwork.
• Valid California driver's license and ability to travel within the Bay Area. English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
• Flexibility for variable evening, weekend or holiday hours. Jobsite inspections involve outdoor weather conditions and noise requiring hearing protection.
