Finish Carpenter

We are seeking experienced finish carpenters who care about the quality of every installation. You will work on cabinetry, doors, trim and custom details in a steady, full-time position with year-round employment and room to advance.

What You'll Do

• Install cabinets, vanities, window trim, extension jambs, doors, hardware, baseboards and casing.
• Complete stair skirts, railings, cap boards and custom finish details.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install materials to precise specifications using plans, elevations and finish schedules.
• Lead or assist small crews as directed by the Foreman and coordinate professionally with supervisors and other trades.
• Keep the jobsite safe and organized, meet quality standards and schedules, and work overtime when needed.

What You Bring

• At least four years of residential finish carpentry experience.
• Strong knowledge of trim, cabinetry, finish materials and fine woodwork; ability to interpret architectural drawings and finish schedules.
• Proficiency with carpentry hand and power tools. Bring a basic set of hand tools; S. R. Freeman supplies power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds, perform repetitive tasks and work safely on ladders and active construction sites.
• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Dependable, professional conduct and willingness to learn company technology. High school diploma or equivalent and English/Spanish bilingual skills are preferred, not required.
