S. R. Freeman seeks skilled exterior finish carpenters who combine careful workmanship with safe, efficient field execution. This steady, full-time position offers year-round employment and opportunities for long-term growth.

What You'll Do

• Install wood, composite and specialty siding, exterior trim, fascia, soffits, rake trim and decorative details.
• Install exterior doors, weather barriers, flashing and waterproofing components.
• Read plans, elevations and finish details; measure, cut, assemble and install materials accurately.
• Coordinate with Foremen, Superintendents, subcontractors and other trades to meet project schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain safe, organized work areas, complete punch-list corrections and work overtime when project deadlines require it.

What You Bring

• At least four years of exterior carpentry and residential construction experience.
• Experience with siding, trim, soffit, fascia, decking, waterproofing details and exterior finishes.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and use saws, routers, nail guns, levels and other carpentry tools.
• Basic personal hand tools; ability to work safely on ladders, scaffolding and elevated surfaces.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, dependable attendance and knowledge of jobsite safety and OSHA requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent and English/Spanish bilingual skills preferred, not required.
